
Emily J. Courney is a Marriage and Family Therapist with a foundation in academia and research experience. She acquired a critical understanding of sex-therapy during her time at Pepperdine University under the mentorship of the head of the University's Human Sexuality department. In the following four years, Emily demonstrated exceptional clinical judgement and was one of five clinicians in the Central Valley's number one center for mental health before going off to start her own practice.
Her business has been featured in Canvas Rebel's editorial on inspiring creatives and entrepreneurs. Most recently, Emily made an appearance in a documentary currently in production by an Emmy Award Nominee. She provides compassionate therapy and tailored interventions to individuals, couples, and families. Emily creates a supportive therapeutic environment while implementing effective, results-driven treatment plans to address her clients' presenting issues. Emily J.
